Mandi understands that commitment to treatment is no small feat. Therefore, she likes to take an “outside the box”, strengths based, whole body, and exploratory approach to treatment.
Mandi believes in putting you, the client, first. She takes a whole body approach and can aid you in finding out how stress manifests in both your body and your mind. Once you and Mandi determine how stress manifest for you specifically, you and Mandi can then create customized coping and relaxation strategies that are tailored to you, your symptoms, and your lifestyle.
Mandi does this by listening to you and creating a partnership in exploring your values. She then works with you to find ways you can be more mindful, which allows you to check in with yourself, to find out if you are living your values vs. fighting them. She also works with you to learn your symptoms, triggers, vulnerabilities, stressors, and warning signs. Once we can paint a picture of how you embody stress, Mandi provide's education about why you are experiencing what you are experiencing. Once we get this picture, we can then work together to practice the techniques that can help you start to heal and take control of not just your symptoms but also your life!
